Whilst in London a few weeks back I made a visit to Forbidden Planet, as I would do normally. While looking around I found a copy ion the Imperium artwork that included the Canoness from the Combat Patrol: Adepta Sororitas boxset. I felt it was too good an opportunity to pas up and as the magazine was only £8.99 I felt it was good value too. I assembled the miniature the next day and primed her the next. After a few more days she was painted and varnished and took her place in the display cabinet. At first I thought she would be quite a simple paint job as she is basically red and black, but it took a little while blending both those colours and there are other details too. She was mounted on a 32mm Necromunda base to match my other Warhammer 40K miniatures that I have painted. I'm not sure how she will be used on the table top but i'm thinking possibly a female Redemptionists leader or champion or maybe even a Ventator Ganger in Necromunda.
