With my starting Chaos Helot gang complete and painted, I wanted to represent some gangers if the dark rituals they perform were failed and the ganger turned into a Chaos Spawn. I have acquired a couple of the actual Chaos Spawn miniatures for this purpose but when the newer Chaos Accursed Cultist were released I thought they were far more suitable for the purpose, so I picked up a box. I assembled a few of the more "human" Accused Cultists to use in my games and continued to get them painted up. Here is the first, with the unfortunate soul having had his arms turned into skinless, horned tendrils. I used a dark skin tone for him and tried to blend this into the reddish gore of his muscles of his tendrils the best I could. I also painted his tabard burgundy, the same colour as the rest of the gang to tie them all in together. I would like to get a few more of the Accused painted, especially the larger, more accursed models, but I have other projects to finish first. To be honest if I ever did get around to finish painting all the Chaos Cultists I have in my collection I would have quite the army.
