After the brief distraction of assembling and painting one of the new Forge World Goliath models I returned to work on the Chaos Cultist Helot gang. I was painting my way through the Chaos Cultist miniatures that came with the Blackstone Fortress Escalation expansion, but which are now available on Games Workshop website listed as Cultist Warband. The next ganger I finished painting and added to the gallery pages was the Helot with the autogun slung over his right shoulder carrying the spare crate for the ganger with the heavy stubber, (I just thought, he could be used as an ammo jack miniature for the gang?) He has a great pose , as he is stooping down running forward. Once Again I used a different skin tone variant to make him a little unique amongst his fellow Cultists. I think this gang will be very versatile was I have completed them, having use in Necromunda as a Chaos Helot gang, used in Blackstone Fortress if we get around to playing it anytime soon, but they would also be great to be used in a Warhammer 4000 Role Playing Games (Either Dark Heresy or Wraith & Glory) as adversaries for the party to take care if. Who doesn't like shooting up a bunch of Chaos fanatics? Ok, back to the painting desk.
