The first painted miniature post of 2023. Its the Chaos Cultist from Escalation, the Blackstone Fortress expansion pack. Although he is now available with the rest of the cultists as Escalation went out of production some time ago. I am using the rest of the cultist as a Chaos Helot gang in Necromunda but for the present this guy won't be joining the gang as he would work out too expensive. Perhaps in the future of the campaign I'll be able to afford adding him, if the current Leader dies. He was great to paint, I spent a bit of time trying to make the long trail of flames spouting from his Fire Pike (equivalent). He looks the business in his elaborate armour, with the two impressive steel-tipped tusks. he is, when I get a chance to field him, going to look impressive on the battlefield.
