While on vacation in the USA at the end of September, I took the opportunity yo pop into Target and pick up the Target exclusive Space Marine II boardgame. Primarilty to add the Lieutenant Titus miniature to my collection. Since returning back in the UK a slimed down version of the boardgame has been released here, I feel that my purchase was better value as it has twice as many Termagant and Ripper Swarm models and, if I ever wish to play the game, a hard game board. The Titus model is push fit and I have assembled him leaving off his head for ease of painting. This will be glued into place once the painting has finished but before the first layer of varnish is applied. To keep the head seperate I had to clip away the easy fit connector that is connected within the torso normally. The rules seem pretty straight forward and seems an ideal way to get a non Warhammer friend into playing their first game. Just need to paint it all and make it look pretty for the tabletop.
