What did I buy?
Wow November was an awesome month for Necromunda miniature releases, for Cawdor and Van Saar specifically and of course I had purchase them all. Cawdor gangs got there release of Weapons and Upgrades, and when I purchased this I also picked up another Cawdor Gang box to incorporate them into. `I also picked up two Warhammer Commemorative Series miniatures, Anasta Malkorion Vampire Lord for Age of Sigmar and Primaris Lieutenant with Storm Shield for Warhammer 40000. My collection of Commemorative miniatures seems to be just growing and growing.
More for Necromunda came from forge World, so that hurt the pocket a little. Cawdor had the additions of Klovis the Redeemer & Deacon Malakev, the long awaited Stig Shambler and a trio of Sheen Birds. Van Saar had the additions of a pair of Champions, one wearing mesh armour and the other in flak armour. They also received a minature that has been a long time coming, the Arachni-Rig. This miniature has received art own share of criticism but I quite like it and looking for to getting it on the paint table, not so much the assembly part. The last new release for the Van Saar I purchased is the one in the generic Forge World white box, inside is a Van Saar Champion with a trio of cyberachnids, I have to say this set looks amazing. All in all a good haul, plenty of new additions to my every growing Necromunda '17 collection and a couple of new Commemorative miniatures,
What Did I Paint?
Quite a productive month regarding getting miniatures painted, for me at any rate. I painted another six of my initial Delaque gang. Not a very exciting selecting as they all wear their distinctive dark brown coat. They are arm with an array of weapons, on these I have added red accents as per the box art. Their pallid flesh compliments their dark jackets. Once I have finished the last three that's at least ten gangers paint from each of the original gangs. Then I will need to decide which of the newer gangs to move onto next. Enforcers or Corpse Grinders, or even perhaps Chaos of Genestealer Cult. Or maybe fast forward to the newest gang release and start on the new Underhive Outcast gang.
What did I play?
Unfortunately I'm still yet to get miniature on the table and roll some dice. My miniatures at the moment have just been in their display cabinet. Oh although I did manage to play a few games of Zombicide via the internet which was quite fun.
