A newly assembled miniature added to the painting queue is this Cawdor Champion with a heavy flamer. The heavy flamer is from the Forge World resin Cawdor Weapons Set 1, this differs to the heavy flamer included in the newer plastic weapons pack in that the fuel for it s carried on the back of the ganger and connected with a hose to the flamer, the plastic weapon has the fuel canister built in. I prefer the resin weapon as it gives an increased impression of the heavy weapon being unwieldy and unstable. The head that I have used is also from Forge World, it is from the Cawdor Alternative Heads Set 1. A bald with a metal wrap around the lower face. I think this miniature is going to look really cool once I have got around to painting it and finishing it. Just need a mild day to be able to get outside and spray undercoat with Smith a rattle can.
