Most of my recent additional gangers that I have been painting for Necromunda have been either from House of Chains or House of Blades, or even one or two from the House of Iron. So I thought I would give the other houses a little love as they only have the basic 10 gangers from the boxset assembled in the ways suggested by the instructions. So I finished a ganger from the House of Faith, his head is resin and from the Forge World's Alternative Heads Pack and his truly awesome heavy flamer is also resin and is from the Forge World's Cawdor Weapon Pack 1. I painted him in the blue and muted brown colours to match my other Cawdor gangers and rusted up the weapon to make it look like it has been salvaged and seen better days. I painted a heat effect at the end of the flamer's barrel and I love the detail of the little candle on the end to ignite the liquid as it is ejected from the weapon, however unrealistic it is. This is Warhammer 40K after all. Unlike the new plastic heavy flamer currently available, this one has a tube leading to a barrel of volitile fuel mounted on the ganger's back. I really like how this ganger turned out and I think he has to be my favourite House of Faith ganger to date. Time to assemble a few more, then perhaps move on to Van Sarr or Delaque.
