Necromunda: Kal Jerico

After I finished painting Slate Merdena I guess I should have moved on to painting Macula his Cyber Mastiff. and I have kinda, the Mastiff is on the paint table getting paint on it but I had another thought about who I wanted to paint next. I'm currently reading the Black Library novel Sinner's Bounty, which is all about Kal Jerico. So I thought perfect, I'll paint Kal Jerico and Scabbs as they both heavily feature in the book (of course), then I will paint all the other Bounty Hunter characters that feature within the pages too. Which at the moment just leaves Baertrum as I have painted all the others already. Assembling Kal was easy enough, although in hindsight I should have filled the joining seems along his coat before priming as these are visible after I have finished painting him. I like this miniature and glad both he and Scabbs were plastic rather than resin. It was fun painting the layers of his acquire Astra Millitarum officers coat (if you believe the rumours) and overall I'm very happy with the results. I followed the painting palette from the website but had real trouble translating his hair, it seems his front braids are blonde which blend into a head of mousey brown hair. I tried my best to replicate this. His sidekick Scabbs is almost finished as I'm writing this too so there will be images of him posted here soon too.Now to wash, dry and assemble Baertrum ready for the next opportunity for priming.
