I seem to be working through these Forge World Hired Guns models quite quickly at the moment. Straight off the paint table today is The Headsman, the House Cawdor Executioner. A bounty hunter that works exclusively for House Cawdor. This model was delayed in it's original release due to the model having to be reworked a little. A fearsome looking fighter favouring getting up close and personal with his, totally brutal two-handed axe. I'm sure that axe of his has detached plenty of heretic heads from their shoulders. With a brace of burning candles sitting astride his own shoulders I can't imagine how difficult it would be for him to fight in close combat without setting his robes on fire. He is dressed in the usual dull and earthy garb common to House Cawdor and he looks a little drab in comparison to Baertrum. I enjoyed painting the model but painting all the bandages wrapped around his arms and legs was a little bit of a pain. Another prized addition added to the display cabinet and the growing number of Forge World models that I have painted.
