As I have been slowly, very slowly, putting together an Astra Militarum Kill Team list to play with my gaming buddies I purchased a box of Tempestus Scions awhile ago. As I was clipping parts of the sprues and assembling them I noticed a rather cool looking briefcase. As I had one of the miniature spare that I wasn't going to be using the from the box for my Kill Team, I decided to assemble the miniatures holding the case and a pistol. I will be using him as an NPC in some Necromunda games where I will need a miniature to resue or escort, or even to leave the board with the important documents he is carrying intact. I was in two minds whether to use the case on an actual necromunda miniature conversion but in the end decided to keep it all vanilla even down to the traditional box art paint palette. This Tempestus Scion is the first miniature I have painted from the Astra Militarum range, and I not that sure I'm that completely happy with how he turned out. For a start I think the pants have turn out a little dark ad I may have to revisit those and painted over the matt varnish to lighten them. As you can see from the totals there are plenty more that need to be painted. These are mostly Cadian infantry.
