I've been wanting to paint Nork Deddog for sometime, he has been in the collection for ages and has been assemble quite awhile. So when the time was right I took him outside and gave him a light covering of Chaos Black spray, the the following day attached him to one of my painting handles and set to work. He was mounted on a necromunda 40mm base as I was guying he would be used more in games of Necromunda as a Venator, NPC or even an Outcast Gang Leader, than in a game of Warhammer 40K or Kill Team. As I set to work it quickly became apparent that he was a big miniature, the second biggest miniature I have painted in fact, after the Formoroid Crusher. I kept to the vanilla colour palette as shown on the Games Workshop website. With the bold red trim on his huge Ripper gun, his Cadian armour panels with golden trim and his red brown pants. It was fun painting his flesh as due to the size of the model all the feature were exaggerated, Overall I was really please how well he came out, even down the the number 3 decal used on his armour, this was from the The Dwarf Giants Blood Bowl team decal sheet. I have worked out his points value for Necromunda calculating him as wysiwyg and he comes in a a hefty 365 as shown on his Fighter Card below. I have to say I am looking forward to seeing how he does on the tabletop; and I hoping he will be on my team.
